My husband and I were selling our home and it was very dated. We interviewed several contractors and went with Kevin Nolen of Nolen Contracting to do a make over on all of our home. I knew we had made the right decision from the start. All floors were covered and protected. None of our kitchen cabinets were going to be touched and they were all masked off. Anything that was not going to be worked on were masked off. When they say they will show up they show up on time. The work they did for our home was wonderful. It was much better then expected. They removed the popcorn ceiling and put on another texture that updated it along with granite countertops. He used another contractor for that, but took the lead for that too. Over all they did a fabulous job. I actually thought about staying, but we had already bought another home. If you need work done give them a call. You won't be sorry.

Since the remodel, My kitchen is like a religious experience. They did exactly what i wanted. The cost was reasonable and the guys doing the work were polite, respectful and very handsome.

We wanted to extend our patio and put an attached roof. These guys came out and got it done in about 3 days. In comparison to the other quotes we got, their prices seemed to be the best average. I may use these guys to compete some backyard projects in the future.
Kevin and his team came out last year and installed our wooden fence. We recently used them again to level our home and to put up sheet rock in the garage. Oliver works so fast. While they were here, Kevin mentioned that they offer financing. Now I’m making plans to get my bathroom remodeled this summer. They do such great work.

Nolen Contracting came to our home in Gun Barrel City in Late March 2026 to extend an outside wall to give us more space. The response for a quote to our request was very quick, reasonably & priced. Response time on arrival was great & completion was very efficient. The job was done very professionally. The finished wall looked so great that we called them almost immediately for a second job/quote to put in a window. Again, they exceeded our expectations & we couldn’t be more satisfied. We are planning to get a quote to expand another outside wall to build a big walk in closet. I feel sure we will use Kevin Nolen & his awesome crew once again.
